Sunday, November 10, 2013 - It's been 3 years since I last had the 04. Decanted for 4 hours and drank over 2 more. Served with grilled ribeye steak. Cherry, chocolate brownie and asphalt on the nose. Still tannic but but drinkable as it approached it's tenth birthday. I will wait 3 years before trying again. Sour cherry, cocoa and classic Pauillac granite on the palate. This is really nice now but I believe it will be far better in the future....possibly 94-95 when it hits its prime.
