Friday, June 3, 2011 - Soft tannins. Little bit of earth and leather. Plenty if fruit - dark and ripe with little bit of not quite ripe plums. Felt silky in mouth like a premier cru Volnay - useful reference point as not drunk USA wines before. Enjoyed greatly.
