Saturday, May 9, 2009 - Pleasant Sonoma cab from a so-so Sonoma vintage. Decanted about 45 minutes and also let it linger in the glass for a while. Nice, even ruby color, no bricking. Nose evolved over the night, from blackberries and leather to floral. Medium bodied. A little too acidic on the palate, but still had blue berries and spice on the palate. Decent finish. Drinking nicely now. I don't think it will improve and won't be suprised if this turns south before much longer.
