Friday, February 4, 2011 - This wine is very dark purple in color. On the nose I get dark cherry and plum with some tobacco and caramel. There is also noticeable oak. On the palate there is some dark fruit and tobacco but it all gets overwhelmed by oak. The finish is a bit sharp and unbalanced. This wine is tasty but it's thin and one dimensional.
