Sunday, November 27, 2011 - 13.5% alcohol. Really nice value in Chianti right here. Bright red color. Aromatic nose, if slightly primary, of flowers, plum, and leather. In the mouth, racy and slightly rustic, with prominent plum fruit and violet notes, along with a pleasant earthy-mushroom edge. Strident acidity and a medium finish. Well executed and will settle down with a bit more time. A-
