Monday, January 9, 2012 - Decanted 1 hr prior to drinking. Aromas of plum, dried fruit, vanilla, and earth -- a classic Chianti. The wine shows structure on the nose and tongue, with a good balance with the tannins. The finish is long, with a little bit of complexity. A quality wine that paired well with pasta and meatballs.
