Thursday, September 13, 2012 - Medium ruby, light not very pronounced nose with some red cherry, spices and herbs. Very tannic, good acidity, medium alcohol and body. Red cherry and plum on the palate with some green olive, eucalyptus and pepper, a little too watery though. Should age a bit more but will remain just an average Chianti, definitely does not taste like a Riserva quality. Good with food, everyday wine.
