Monday, July 14, 2014 - Had with lamb chops and grilled zucchini. Should have had with something lighter (chicken or seafood) as the chops overpowered this wine. Ruby in color and classic Sangiovese on the nose. Cherry and red berries with a hint of coffee on the palate, but fruit is muted. Minimal tannins. Well balanced
