Monday, March 20, 2017 - PnP. Red fruit, leather and a touch of damp forest on the nose and palate. Plenty of acidity and still quite tannic for a wine going into it's 10th year...nothing that gets in the way but a little drying on the palate. Really nice wine.

a little commentary...I bought a half case several years ago on release and didn't think much of the wine for the first few years especially due to the professional scores it garnished. Well those scores IMHO were pretty close to spot on 10 years in. In never ceases to amaze me how some have the ability to read a wine so far in advance of it's evolution. I mean, I get it in theory, but I do not have the ability...so hats off to those that do...I will keep following!
