Community Tasting Note

Monday, January 16, 2012 - Opened another bottle after popping one tainted with TCA.
Balanced fruit on the nose with slight florality, meat, smoke, rye bread, ginger, mushroomy wet chalk character and strong autolysis.
Fullbodied and pretty powerful dry palate with refreshing fine-grained acidity. Ripe lemon, butter, big chalk and abundant bready notes.
A good deal more of the toasty autolysis action here than the last time I had this. Again killer chalk and very good altogether. Evolved beautifully in the glass for hours and is a treat already.
