Saturday, March 5, 2011 - Light cherry red color. Initially very tight, this opened up over an hour and really shined with food. Pinot-like nose of candied cherries, floral spices, and citrus. Light-bodied palate with flavors of cherries, raspberries, orange, and baking spices. Silky tannins and nice acidity. Herbal cherry finish. A very nice food wine. Decant for an hour if drinking now. Even better on Day 2. 90+
