Thursday, February 15, 2024 - This should be decanted for about an hour now. It took 3 hours in the glass to open up and gain the depth I recalled when tasting this at the winery. Very fruit forward with a tiny bit of polish. Overall, well made and in its prime drinking window. Fully resolved tannins. Although this isn’t my preferred style of wine, I highly enjoyed this with a dry aged 48 ounce prime porterhouse that I grilled and served rare with sweet potatoes. I don’t see this improving and best consumed within the next 2-3 years. Revisit 2025
