Saturday, November 24, 2012 - From magnum. I found this bottle tight, fruit forward with too much alcohol on the finish. To me, this bottle format seems to be going through some maturation phase. Others found it beautiful. This was tasted alongside a 1992 Laurene, which was stunning. Embarrassing, really, to realize that that wine would transform into such a beauty. If you're lucky enough to have a magnum, wait 5 more years.

11/29/2012 7:56:00 PM - We actually do have a mag of this, purchased at the winery and in storage since. Appreciate your note very much - it's rare to get info on large format OR Pinots. I'll keep this wine deep in the cellar for a few more years.
