Tuesday, March 7, 2006 - This wine gets my vote for wine of the vintage. Had this along side the 83 margaux and this was heads and shoulders above it. Thick dense and fuller bodied then the margaux. The wine has a wonderful all spice in the nose and midpalate that is just pure silk and layer upon layer. Great complexity and balance. This wine is a wine to judge all others by. I think it is now at its peak where it should stay of years to come.
