Monday, November 11, 2013 - Opened with a compromised cork. Slight flaws creeping in which I have to attribute to the cork. Elegant dark fruits for days with great structure and balance. Needs time or a healthy decant, neither of which we gave it. Will try another early next year and give it 3+ hours to fully open up. All the signs point to something special though.
