Sunday, November 13, 2011 - Packed with fresh youthful fruit that seems remarkably ripe and sweet for an '01 Bordeaux, though it's offset by savoury earthy and smoky elements that emerge with a little time in the decanter. Nicely balanced with fairly gentle tannins, drinking well now though I imagine there's still some time ahead.
