Weightless, minerals, so sexy and clean.
Flowers, air, purity and again minerals.
Not to mention the superb fruit, the fruit is pure magic.
This is up there with La Tâche and DRC R.S.V and Vogüé Amoureuses from the same vintage, as among my top ever wine encounters.
We had 10 vintages of Rousseau Chambertin tonight, tasted by 10 experienced tasters, and 8 out of 10 had this as wotn, with one who had this as runner up and one had it as the third best of tonight’s line up.
So to me there is not much doubt in the greatness of this wine.
Simply magic, and hence simply scored after that.
This will be a wine to tell your grandchildren about.
