Saturday, March 6, 2010 - No notes taken, but this didn't bowl me over. It's a fruit-forward wine (but not overripe), with a touch of heat on the palate, and some bitterness. My impression of R-M thus far (but based on only two bottles -- this one and the 2007 Sonoma Coast) is that the style seems more fruit driven than, for example, Rhys and Anthill (my two benchmarks for California pinot noir).
