Wednesday, January 22, 2014 - Dinner at RPM (RPM Italian - Chicago, IL): First time trying a Kapcsandy and I really expected a big, sappy, boozy Cabernet. What I got, though, was far more balanced and enjoyable. This had been decanting for ~5 hours before dinner and showed nice currant, black cherry, and spice notes. The palate was silky with lots of cherry, blackberry, and a touch of meatiness. A very good combination with some A-5 kobe beef.
