The nose of this 11 year-old Aussie Cabernet Sauvignon is quite restrained with notes of thick stewed fruits, cooked meat and a bit of greenishness. The palate is rich, unctuous, medium full-bodied with flavors of rich but mildly savory red and blue fruits, meat, spices, and soil towards the finish. I think this is an off bottle despite the screw cap?, if not it is certainly drinking at the latter end of its drinking window.
