Saturday, February 5, 2011 - Showing well, very refined, with a smoky, earthy edge to the cool cassis and currant fruit and mineral and tobacco notes. In the mouth, refined, very well balanced, and beautifully focused. A wine of terrific balance and sensibility, with a classy mouth feel, plush but not over the top. The fruit and earth notes marry very well with the tobacco and leather edge. Long finish shows plenty of tannins. A-
