Graphite, graphite, graphite on the nose. Obvious step-up in quality from the experiments. Dry tannins with more sweet oak evident. Really dark fruits evident, especially the cassis and blackberry but a little dark red cherry note on the finish. I little caramel and toasted cedar (like a cedar plank) after a few hours. This was decanted for about 4 hours. It needs more time.
