The nose is simply amazing: rich fruit and violet aromas; this is where the wine excelled. On the palate, the fruit did not come through quite as strong as other 2005 California Cabs (and had a bit too much of the alcohol coming through), and the finish was a bit short. Looking forward to trying this in a few years.
