Saturday, June 2, 2012 - Brought this to "A Toute Huere" (Cranford, NJ) for our 24th Anniversary dinner (ATH is simply fabulous!!!). A little age has helped this wine...it is drinking beautifully right now. Explosive nose of fresh tart red fruit which carries over to the palate which is so nicely integrated at this point (not detecting the hint of heat I've detected previously). A beautiful CALIFORNIA Pinot with it's fresh, bright fruit, but perfectly restrained for my tastes. Some subtle baking spices and seamless transitions throughout. and a hint of scorched earth on the long finish.
