Friday, December 16, 2011 - PnVnD let air for 3hrs. Purple garnet just saturated with a garnet rim. Fig paste rhubarb raspberry coulis and sage nose. Medium weight with powdery walnut skin tannins. Taste is similar to the nose with the walnut note from the tannins. Rustic without being rough. Finish is a bit short and dry. I think it is overscored by W&S and I like the Shardana bottling a lot more. For the money I would buy the Shardana.
