Monday, January 2, 2012 - Lovely medium ruby, orange tinged, very viscous. Floral and fragrant, remarkably minerally and precise for a 2003; the merest hint of brett and perhaps a touch of VA but never unpleasant; juicy, sweet fruit, full of life, low acidity of course but the tannins provide a pleasant counterpoint; some spices but not very deep, well-balanced, decent length. A successful 2003, lacking a bit of complexity and depth. Drink now - 2013.
