Friday, December 17, 2010 - Dark Gamay purple color; nose of fresh crushed raspberry/cherry, white pepper, sweet flower, blood iron, smoked cherrywood. Beautiful nose! In the mouth...nice soft feel, delicate, yet with young firm structure. Bright and floral crushed berry/Gamay fruit....super DRY sweetness, dusty tannins, cured meat, licorice, spice. Really has a nice freshness, yet more substantial then most Gamay I've had. Good structure...should do really well in a few years. Better as it opens. Super food wine! +pts
