Saturday, June 1, 2013 - Great freshness and full fruit flavors of blackberry with classic black pepper notes along with some mint and herbs. I was expecting bigger fruit, but this has tremendous balance and elegance to it. This was popped and poured, and it was gone within an hour.

After recently tasting the '00 and '07, I found this to be my favorite Lagier Meredith Syrah to date. Also found the 2+ years of bottle age to be appropriate for my palate, though I look forward to checking in on this down the road.
