Saturday, February 21, 2015 - We had this bottle today with lunch, a salad with grilled chicken, fresh cilantro and dill. The wine was perfect for this meal, on a cold, but not brutal day in NYC. I think Shafer's Merlot is underrated, the effect of Sideways debasing Merlot, but those who have this wine can enjoy with pleasure. And it still has plenty of life in it.
