Saturday, June 6, 2015 - This was popped and poured at a local valley fair. Clear and a very deep garnet red in colour, this wine's nose was filled with candied cherries. The wine was fantastic from the first pour and these cherries were very present in the glass along with some caramel as well. The wine is quite strong on the tannins and the acidity was at a nice level. Although it's quite strong in alcohol percentage, this wine doesn't seem to be "in your face" strong. Overall, this was a wonderful bottle.
