Thursday, December 16, 2010 - Popped and poured, consumed over ~1 hour. Gets points for being structurally balanced, with slightly rough tannins, a touch of acid, and not as much sweetness as many wines in this price range have. Unfortunately, the fruit character isn't great - the nose is simple and a bit grapey, and the palate reminds me somewhat of flat cherry cola.

You could do worse at $6, but the rest of this bottle will fulfill its destiny as part of a pot roast recipe.
