Thursday, August 14, 2008 - Utterly smooth, and very approachable. This cheval blanc give off aromas of graphite, dark black and blueberry, and subtle oak. The taste is medium to almost full bodied and very balanced. The minerality give way to dark forest fruit and sage, and then the gravel and slate take over the hindpalate. The finish was moderate. Great wine from a moderate year.
