Wednesday, November 17, 2010 - Much too young, of course, but after decanting you can taste lots of fruit and some cedar and tobacco-tinged sweet tannins (perhaps too sweet), all accompanied by a mouth coating richness and a lovely wild-cherry nose. I'm not experienced enough to know how this will mature, but I'm guessing that in a year or two, those who paid $12 for this wine will feel like Solomons. Beyond that, que scais-je? as an owner of Chateau d'Yquem liked to say. Will it achieve complexity? Let me know.
