Wednesday, July 27, 2011 - Decanted for 1 1/2 hours. Very dark in color - with long slow legs. The nose gave off a a strong leathery component, particularly at first - but after about an hour or so the leather faded and nice berries notes came through. Good dark fruit flavors with mineral flavors in the background, good acidity and medium tannins. Medium length finish with some herbal undertones. Got better the longer it was open. Recommend a 2 to 3 hour decant.
