Tuesday, December 28, 2010 - This wine was popped and poured late in the evening, subsequently being consumed over a 2-3 hour time period (way beyond my normal bedtime!). Opaque purple/ruby robe with violet rim. Clean nose, showing beautiful black currant, black cherry, spice, earth and coffee aromas. Full-bodied on the palate, with low-to-medium acidity and big ripe tannins. The flavors are black fruit-dominated and the middle palate is rock-solid. Long, luscious finish. This wine is a screaming deal for anyone who loves Napa Cab. Drink now-12/20.
