Tuesday, May 26, 2015 - The color is very dense for a Pinot Noir and rather opaque with garnet color that is bricking on the edge to a yellow orange hue. The smells are black cherry, wood, raspberry, mushroom, wet stone, and some floral notes. The tastes are vanilla, dill, black cherry, cranberry, cola, black licorice, earth, stone, and tart fruit. The finish is a bit warm, the tannins are subtle and thin.
