Saturday, October 1, 2011 - National Day dinner Chez Jada: Colour almost vermilion, ring of amber at the edge. From just appearance alone, seemed a much more mature and evolved wine than the '99 opened side by side. So what if "terroirists" will lament the lack of "sense of place", the '98 Ornellaia is thoroughly well made and enjoyable -- not to mention a great way to impress female company (which were the main constituent at this dinner)
