Wednesday, June 4, 2014 - Enjoyed at Joel Robuchon. Drank shortly after the 1970 Ducru. Given this comparison, the youth and modern touch of this wine was evident. Still dark and opaque, ripe cassis flavours and sweet oak. Full-bodied and round, soft tannins, adequate acidity, good length. This was a pleasure to drink but lacking complexity and some elegance next to the older Bordeaux.
