Saturday, October 4, 2008 - Decanted for 1-1/2 hrs in am. At 6pm redecanted, and significant sediment emerged then, not earlier. Let breathe for another hour before going to Gabbiano. Remains a fabulous bottle of wine, justifying its WS WOTY hype. Intense dark berry perfume/bouquet, similar intense flavor, and finish, with sweet ripe tannins. Great value in today's inflated market.One of my Wines of thsi year.
