I could smell the black and blue fruit from two feet away after I poured the first glass.

Dense Ruby/crimson color. The wine is clean with no flaws on the nose. Tight water band. M+ body.

Nose of blackberry, blueberry, vanilla, baking spice, very ripe and juicy. Hints of wet earth and forest floor. Smoke.

Palate confirms nose. M+tannin. M+ finish. Medium complexity. Slightly out of balance.

Could definitely use a few more years. Next bottle in 2018, not before.
