Sunday, December 25, 2016 - Drank with cheese assortment and salame on Xmas eve. Decanted for about 45 min before drinking and cooled to around 60 deg. This was an enjoyable cab, but I think it will be better to wait on my other bottles. This has lots of fruit, balanced by good acidity. But is is still quite primary and is not yet showing much complexity (the '07 is more complex at this stage, IMO). The finish also still has just a touch of bitterness. This is certainly drinkable now, but I think it will be better in the future.
