Wednesday, November 15, 2017 - My first bottle of this beauty, which has been nestling in my cellar since mid-2011. It is now fully integrated and ready to go. Upon pouring, the color is a mid-dark garnet in the glass, with a medium body, and strong legs. The aromas leap from the crystal upon swirling -- bright, big, fruit-filled, enticing, and energetic. The palate is filled with robust and round flavors of cassis, black cherry, and blackberry, with a finish of autumnal spices and madagascar vanilla. Superb balance, luscious tannins, and showing very well right now. The next bottle may make a showing on our Thanksgiving table!
