95 Points

Wednesday, December 30, 2020 - It’s been nine years since I last tasted this wine. What a glorious nine years it’s been. This is a fantastic wine. I think I over scored it initially but that was a long time ago. It’s really a wonderful experience. Amazing deep, dark red fruit nose. With a dry, dusty sense to it. Ripe blackberry and cherry with dusty, earthy undertones. Just awesome. Soft entry with mature, dark fruit flavors. This is a fantastic wine, worthy of much praise. I’m thankful to have two bottles remaining. This is drinking perfectly now!

12/31/2020 10:12:00 AM - Thanks for your TN and happy new year. I was wondering since I have a few bottles left , why did you recommend to drink them now, you don´t see any further development ? Is it in the sweet spot already of fruit vs nuances ? I want to open one but I was waiting for a couple of more years but after reading your review I think I will open one

All I mean is that it is drinking wonderfully and it’s currently a beautiful experience. I do not think it is anywhere near the end of its drinking window. All I meant is that drinking now would not be a mistake. Cheers!
