Sunday, June 26, 2022 - Deep dark center, red rim with some signs of age.
Sweet, pipe tobacco and black cherries, touch of VA, dry autumn leaves, some green stems.
Smooth and minty, cassis and plums, raspberry reduction, modest acidity and tannin at this point, touch of cigar ash, very good long finish.
Excellent Napa Cab, not overblown at all (the 15.3% alcohol is surprisingly well integrated). Drinking very well now.
