Sunday, January 9, 2011 - A perfect bottle of Bordeaux caught in its sweetest of sweet spots. Soaring aromas from the second the cork was pulled. Great texture and tension in the glass. Classic bordeaux everything (cassis, lead pencil, cedar) and a very long finish. Other than a '61 Lynch Bages I had several years ago, the best LB bottle to date. It improved through the night so this has lots of life ahead.
