Tuesday, August 10, 2021 - Color has not changed a great deal, inky. Not much on the rim. Lovely LB nose. The graphite I associate with Lynch has faded greatly. Tannins are velvety, the glass begins with some forward, mostly black fruit that is a little subdued. The middle is darker, almost but not quite gamy. Finish is long, still. A wonderful evolution. 70th birthday and 25th anniversary dinner. Rare grass fed rib eye, duck fat potatoes and my wife’s banana cake with coffee frosting. Lovely all the way around.
