Tuesday, January 25, 2011 - Probably my best textural experience with a white wine. Full bodied, rich and mouth watering, yet so light and oily it almost floats over the tastebuds. Perfect balance of sweetness and freshness. Reminds me of a semi-dry Vouvray based on the fruit profile of freshly cut apples, pears and a touch of honey. Great aromatics. Beautiful amber color. Drinks beautifully right now. A little more complexity and this would have been stunning.
