Thursday, December 15, 2016 - I found a few of these left in one of my long term wine lockers - I have a couple of 2000s as well. While the wine is past its best I was pleasantly surprised after I decanted it and had a taste especially after reading earlier reviews. The colour is relatively light with some browning. Nose was pretty clean - dark fruits with raisin notes not surprisingly. Palate was luscious dark fruits reminiscent of fruit cake as a consequence of its age - my wife really liked this - medium finish. This was kept in very good stable conditions which contributes to its graceful aging I think. Won't wait too long to finish them off.
