Wednesday, October 8, 2014 - Quick notes from a blind tasting with Motz - the 1st note I pulled from this wine was this beautiful mineral-cherry-seaweed thing that I get out of some of my favorite wines that happen to be biodynamically farmed. This was absolutely explosive on the palate with teeth staining and palate enveloping flavors and complexities with pine/eucalyptus , cherry, tomato paste, earth/rock, lush dark berries, bitter coco and a finish that would not quite. The is the perfect example of a massively hedonistic wine that somehow keeps everything in check and balanced. This is a wine I would love to decipher a meal. Thanks again for sharing Motz.
