Friday, December 21, 2018 - This was in a great place right now. Popped and poured with Mexican food. Pretty nose of black fruits and flowers. The wine is medium to full bodied, and is very well integrated with for a Malbec a fairly refined silky character. Ripe black currant, cocoa, tobacco weed and spice on the palate with a medium length finish. The high alcohol (15.1%) was well integrated and frankly was helpful in standing up to the rich and sometimes spicy Mexican food.
